Poetry and Pictogram Workshop

I am so excited to bring my mini-workshop idea to life thanks to a grant from my community partners Community Literacies Collaboratory.

This event promises one thing: Opportunity! Where we get to encourage our young minds the opportunity to express themselves, the opportunity to have fun learning, and an opportunity to enhance literacy skills while pairing it with some amazing tools. We will incorporate Poetry and Pictograms to let our students dive into the world of imagination.

You will drop your child off starting at 9am to eat breakfast, with the workshop starting at 10am. We ask that you come back at 2:15pm for pickup and to see some amazing posters that the youth have created…all without words, but with images that showcases their creativity and unspoken voice! It’s going to be great!
